During my second year online I had the good fortune to connect with
Joe Polish. Little did I know then that two years later I would go
on to win a contest he had inspired years earlier. It’s called the
“Better Your Best” marketing in excellence award and I took the 25K
first prize in November of 2009. This contest continues to exist.

trust and rapport. We live in a world where people want to connect with
someone they can believe in. There are so many options and so many choices.
“In order to position yourself, you have to develop a level of trust.
“Your job is to establish that trust and rapport. No one becomes a great
long-term marketer and business owner without first learning how to connect
with other people on a deep level.”

ourselves the question “What if?” and then brainstorm your ideas on paper
or your favorite way of recording what you think about. This works for me.

When Do You Need Help with Public Speaking?

* When you’re asked to speak at a wedding, Rotary meeting, or your child’s
school event
* Preparing for a sales conversation – online or in person
* When you need more confidence in front of people – one person or many
* Speaking in front of a group of your peers – at a party or other gathering
* When you want to share a story with others and make a relevant point
* Those times when you need to address an issue with a friend or family member
* When you are invited to speak at a live marketing event for the first time
The last one happened to me in 2007 and I was not prepared. In January of 2019
I asked April Lemarr to speak at my live event in Los Angeles and she was a hit…
