Hi Online-Marketing,

This past summer I planned a road
trip across the country and back.
I wanted to visit friends, family,
my former exchange student, and also
eleven of my clients.

By Day 3 of this twenty-one day trip
I was crippled over in pain by an
attack of sciatica. Before that day
I wasn’t even sure where my sciatic
nerve was located. I ended up in the
hospital in St. Louis, Missouri where
the orthopedic surgeon advised me to

Hi Online-Marketing,

This weekend I have clients in town
and we had planned to meet in the
morning at my local farmer’s market.

Hi Online-Marketing,

One of my mentees asked me what she should
wear to my live event in Los Angeles next
week. My answer was to wear business attire
because our appearance can make or break
our image with new colleagues. I then
realized she was talking about the weather
and if she needed to bring a raincoat.

But I think the matter of what to wear
when you meet people at a live event is
an important one.

When I first started attending events I
wore my stretchy pants and colorful tops.
It was obvious that I was not one of the
speakers or on any of the panels. Then I
was asked to speak and I went shopping
with a friend to choose some clothes that
would make me seem more professional.

single day when I am with colleagues at
