Hi Online-Marketing,

When one of my relatives started a handyman
business a decade ago, I never dreamed this
would be the start of something big in my
own business.

He was spending three to four hundred dollars
each month on newspaper and magazine ads,
and many times it took him two weeks to be
in profit. Times were tough for him.

So that summer I started blogging for him,
and that led to other types of marketing.
It was all based on what I was doing in my
own business to get my name out and grow

Hi Online-Marketing,

In southern California we have something
we refer to as “June Gloom”, where thick
clouds roll in off the ocean and keep the
sun from shining until the late morning.
As an eternal optimist I enjoy the misty
haze, knowing it’s worth the wait until
our sun decides to appear high in the sky.

This is similar to what some entrepreneurs
experience during the summer. Someone says
there is very little happening during June
(not true from my experience) and the next
thing you know another summer has passed
without you making any progress in your
business.

Instead, think of this month as “June Bloom”,
one in which you will make things happen
and blossom as an online entrepreneur. I’m

Today I am in deep contemplation. I have
