Hi Online-Marketing,

Whenever I get even slightly off track with
my online business, such as when I take off
a full month twice each year or have a busy
schedule of family, corporate work, and lots
of charity events on my calendar, that’s when
I go back to the basics to make sure all of
my entrepreneurial engines are running at full
speed ahead once again.

Here is what that looks like…

1- Writing – crucial to your business and can
be your own original writing, PLR (private
label rights) content, or even guest posts
and additional content from others. I have
been on vacation all of July and published
sixteen blog posts during this time. Only
two of these were my original writing.

2- Creating – regularly creating products
and courses throughout the year increases
your income exponentially. Considering that
you need a minimum of twelve information
products, courses, or programs before you
are taken seriously as an entrepreneur on
the internet, it’s important to keep moving
on this one. I have a new online course I’m
launching in the morning. Stay tuned.

3- Sharing – this is the marketing piece of
your online business. Someone I partnered
with early on loved to create products and
courses, but avoided the marketing almost
completely. We worked well together and
that’s when I gained the nickname of “the
Marketing Madwoman”. It has a nice ring to
it, don’t you agree?

4- Learning – this one must be adhered to
closely so that you implement everything
you learn. Also, only learn what you will
need in the very near future and plan on
implementing right away. This is exactly
how I learned more about membership sites,
content curation, and so much more. If it’s
something I’m going to outsource, I don’t
take the time to learn it.

Hi Online-Marketing,

As the mercury rises and the temperatures
get into the triple digits in the cities
I call home (Santa Barbara and Santa Clarita
in southern California) I think about mixed
feelings I have for the summertime.

I love the extra time off my working friends
have, and how we are able to spend time in
a way that is reminiscent of childhood. I
