This week I’ve been volunteering
for an event called the ‘Festival
of Trees’. It benefits our Boys
and Girls Club, so that appealed
to me. I decided to invite my
next door neighbor, Becky, to be
a volunteer as well.

Becky is an introvert, so we knew
that this would take her way out
of her comfort zone. I was thrilled
when she agreed to join me.

Within a few minutes of helping out
at the event, Becky realized that
she knew someone connected with the
event and with the Boys and Girls
Club. Her eyes lit up and I knew
that my invitation had been the right
thing to do.

Yesterday was one of those days.
Do you ever have a day where it
seems like everything gets messed
up and you just want to start it

Hi Online-Marketing,

Yesterday I did something new,
and it was lots of fun. Several
of the people I know through small
business groups meet once a month
to take the train to downtown Los
Angeles. This gives them a chance
to get to know each other better,
to talk about their business more
informally, and to have lunch in
the oldest part of the city.

Yesterday they invited me to go!

We laughed and talked during the
first part of our train ride, but
as we went further into the city
the conversation changed. It had
become more of a mastermind, and
we began to discuss how we could
support each other in what we were
working on. This is another example
of how entrepreneurs tend to have
the best ideas for business growth
and marketing.
