Hi Online-Marketing,

My Santa Barbara Retreat continues through Monday
morning. Yesterday we spent the afternoon with one
of my mentors so he could meet the people here
with me this weekend.

When one of them said he believed there aren’t as
many opportunities now as there were just a few
years ago, Paul (my mentor) vehemently disagreed.
This was what he shared with our group about money
and financial success and how to have more of it…

It’s not lack of opportunities, level of intelligence,
or the willingness to work hard that stands in our way
when it comes to achieving financial goals. There are
opportunities everywhere. We are all smart enough. And
entrepreneurs work as hard, or harder as anyone else.

It’s willingness to stay focused on one or two projects,
committing to completing whatever we start, having the
confidence to share what we are working on with others,
and working with a mentor who will guide us along the way.

Not every product or course or project will be a home run,
but most will be base hits if we follow this formula. And
every once in awhile we will enjoy a grand slam.

Hi Online-Marketing,

Yesterday was the day the crew was to arrive to wire
my new home with the latest in fiber optics and other
technology. This house was completed over two months
ago and it took this long to get the appointment.

I would love to tell you that it all went smoothly and
without a glitch, but that was not the case. Instead,
the internet broke, the electricity went out, and the
running water was the only modern convenience remaining.

Right now I’m still at Starbucks on my computer and I’m
not sure when this situation will be remedied. I’ll be
working on my attitude regarding the value of technology
and people who can make magic with this in my life. Many
life lessons will come of this when I can finally turn my
frown upside down. I’ll keep you posted, I promise.

Hi Online-Marketing,

After five days with my students, mentees, and the other
participants at my seminar and workshop I spent the day
reflecting on how and why some people are able to easily
use something called “lifestyle design” to build up their
online business around a life they choose while others will
continue to flounder for years. It all comes down to…

1) Consistency – those who start and stop in their efforts
to achieve success seldom do. I’ve always said that if you
miss thirty days of taking regular action you are once
again on day one of your business. Do something each day
and you will accelerate your progress.

2) Mentorship – During my 13 years of online entrepreneurship
I have not seen anyone reach six figures and beyond without
the guidance of a mentor. I have opened up two spots in my

Hi Online-Marketing,

My latest live seminar and workshop wrapped up this
morning. It was my twentieth in person event since
2010 and I have to say it was wonderful.

Yesterday was our “beach day” here in Los Angeles at
my live event and workshop. We all took various modes
of transportation to get to the Manhattan Beach pier
where we broke into groups to discuss aspects of our
businesses. This has been quite effective over the
years I have been hosting my events.

through huge plate glass windows. Yes, I love the beach

One of the biggest struggles entrepreneurs have when it comes
to product creation, is what to actually sell. So I wanted to
give you 3 product ideas for 2019 that could lead to more.

But first, let’s have a little creative fun!

Grab a pen and paper and go to this page:

write down 12 that feel exciting and interesting for you.

Next, beside each planner you wrote down, write down the month
you’d like to share that topic with your audience. Congrats!
You’ve got yourself a basic product schedule for the entire year.

And now, here are the 3 ideas for products you can create using

1) Create a 12 Month Mastermind Program:

month – and then you’ll be free to focus on marketing it the rest of
the year.

PRICING & PROFIT: Buy 12 of our planners x $20 = $240. Then, charge
$37/month for your program. If you get just 12 members, you’ll cover
the cost of all 12 planners and make a profit of $204 the first month
and $5328 for the year, less the $240 for the planners.

3) Create Evergreen Courses: (my favorite idea!)

WHAT TO DO: Each month, you would use the planner to create a new
course. You could do a video training, a case study, over-the-shoulder
video, etc., and then package it up with the planner.

Then, you would release it and sell it to your audience. Later, after
your initial sales die down, you can repurpose it into an upsell offer,
a backend offer, or package it up with another offering. You can use it
as a bonus, or include it in a bundle offer later in the year when you
have a few courses completed (summer bundle sale, Black Friday, Christmas,
New Years, etc.)

PRICING & PROFIT: Buy 12 of our planners x $20 = $240. Then, charge $97
per course. If you sell just 1 copy of each course every month, you’ll
cover the cost of all 12 planners and make a profit of $924! Can you see
why I love this idea so much? The numbers just keep growing.
