I’m back safely on terrafirma after
spending most of the past two months

Hi Online-Marketing,

This is my last full day in London and
tomorrow I’m headed back to the States.
I took seven weeks vacation this summer,
starting with my 6300 mile road trip
across the U.S., then spending time in
Finland and Sweden with family, and now
spending almost a week here in London
after speaking to a group of 200 newly
published authors on the topics of now
marketing their books and creating online
courses based on the content of their book.

Earlier this evening I was listening to a
training presentation from my friend Marlon
Sanders. He spoke about how there is always
a price to obtain a skill you need for your
business, as well as the price to NOT have
that particular skill.

I see that online every day. People say they
want to have a lucrative online business,
yet they lack the skills needed and aren’t
willing to spend the time and the financial
investment to get to where they want to be.

Selling physical products is an excellent
example of Marlon’s point. You may say that
you’d like to sell various products on Amazon
at least on a part-time basis, yet you lack
the skills required to do so successfully.

This problem has a simple solution: invest
some time and money to get the very best
training at a fair cost and then get moving.

During July, while I was traveling the world
and enjoying time with family, I was able to
create twenty-eight new blog posts, two short
reports, numerous social media postings, and

will be released at the beginning of 2017.

All of this content continues to increase my
income, along with my visibility and credibility.
I will tell you that I never worked for more
than two hours a day last month, and that’s
probably the most exciting part of becoming a
content creation machine.

Hi Online-Marketing,

I did not travel to Europe until I was
thirty-nine years old. Before that time
I didn’t feel a connection with countries
there, didn’t know anyone living in Europe,
and couldn’t visualize myself being there.
To say I had limiting beliefs is putting
it mildly.

When I did finally visit an entire world
opened up to me! I can remember sitting in
a restaurant in Stockholm and discussing
the possibility of spending a year teaching
in Sweden with a group of people I had just
met the week before. It had never occurred
to me until that moment that I could live
across the pond.

These days I’m a seasoned traveler, and my
destinations have included China, Thailand,
Sweden, Norway, the U.K., Canada, and of
course, Finland just to name a few of the
countries I have been to in my travels. My
extended family lives in Finland and I’ve
now been there more than twenty times.

This week I’m in London and the surrounding
area, in part to visit the city that has
become one of my all time favorites and also
to speak to a group of about two hundred
published authors on the topics of marketing
their books and creating courses based on
their content and message.

I’ll be offering the online version of this
training later this year, as a part of my
“Really Simple” series. Would this training

I am not a long time writer, podcaster, or
video creator. In fact, when I came online
in 2006 I had written only a few articles
that had ever been published, had never done
an audio or video interview, and the only
videos I had ever created were done with an
old VHS camera that weighed at least ten pounds.
In short, my experience with content creation
was extremely limited.

Then I started blogging, and soon I saw the
power of leveraging the Internet in this way.
This led to podcasting, authorship, and video
creation, and then something even greater…

People started “seeing” me “everywhere” online.
My business grew. My income jumped dramatically.
I was asked to speak at major conferences and
marketing events. My books were nominated for
awards. My income jumped higher. And so on…

You can do great things with content creation,
and repurposing that content is the direct
result of making sure your audience can hear,
see, and touch your knowledge and expertise.

This is what I’d like for you to do:

1) Read through my blogs, leave a comment or two,

Hi Online-Marketing,

I’m a firm believer that everything you do
prepares you for what lies ahead in your
future life and business. Here are just a
few examples of how this concept continues
to play out in my life…

This weekend I traveled from Finland to
the U.K., and this week I’ll be speaking
to a group of about two hundred authors
here in London. If I hadn’t been a teacher
many years ago, it wouldn’t be comfortable
for me to present information on how and
why we write books as a profitable business
model to a group such as this one.

Even the travel is a great example of this
principle. I used to take two day trips
because I wasn’t able to afford the time
or the money to go longer or further, and
now I’m able to gauge the time necessary
to get to the location I need to be at with
very little error, even using transportation
I am unfamiliar with in my locale.

And when I was dealing with difficult adults
during my years as a classroom teacher and
working in real estate, this was preparation
for helping people today who are determined
to build a business without doing the work or
establishing the relationships.

Every step and every breath you take are ones
that will prepare you for your future, if you
stay on course and know what it is you truly
want in your life.

This is the key!
