Hi Online-Marketing,

On Friday night someone wrote on
my Facebook page that I did not
care about what happened to the
children in Connecticut because
I had not posted my feelings there.

This morning I received an unkind
email from someone who could not
believe I did not mention it in
my email, and that it must mean
that I care more about making money
than I do about people’s lives.

Nothing could be further from the
truth. Sometimes people care so
deeply they are unable to find the
words to express their pain and
sorrow. Those in the public eye
are sometimes judged more harshly
when we do not respond, but we are
human, too.
