My family got a little rambunctious
and began celebrating Mother’s Day
early and in a big way. It began for
me yesterday with an early morning
pilates class that left me wondering
if I really have a core. I’m still
sore from this and know that it’s time
to get in better shape. Perhaps a
yoga class is in my future. Anything
but searching for my core again! I
am truly blessed to have family who
care so much about my happiness.
It was on Mother’s Day six years ago
when I placed a paperback copy of
my very first book into my Mother’s
frail hands. At that moment I thanked
God I had written the book while she
was still with us, not knowing that
a year later she would be gone.
After hosting my live event this past
weekend, I’m even more aware of the
power of being a published author. I
