This evening the Rotary Club here
in Santa Barbara is holding its
meeting at the zoo. After we all
check in, shake hands, salute the
flag, and sing a song, we’ll be
visiting with the zoo’s two newest
members – baby giraffes named Dane
and Sunshine, born April 18 and
28. I promise to share lots of pics
of these babies on Facebook. They
were both over 6 feet (183 cm) tall
at birth!
I still have three spots open for

But I’m most excited about seeing
the giraffes this evening!
