It’s been a very busy week so far,
and it isn’t even the weekend. I
got a new office chair that has me
sitting up straight, my house is just
about ready for my family’s visit
from Finland in less than three weeks,
and I have a new paperback book that
I wrote with some other experts.
Yesterday’s open call was a great
one, with so many people showing up
live to ask their questions on how
to grow their business more easily.

I had promised an Amazon gift card to
the person who asked me the most thought
provoking question, and it ended up to
be the only question I didn’t read out
loud during the call. It was from my
student Alex, and here is what he said:
‘I was lucky enough to hear you speak
in Minneapolis at Armand Morin’s event
back in 2010, and you shared that your
granddaughter had passed away after a
short illness. How did you find the
courage to go on after that, and has
that experience changed the way you
approach life each day?’
This caught me quite off guard and I
promise to share my feelings on this
more fully in the future. It has most
definitely shaped who I am, inside and
out, for the remainder of my life. Again,
