Yesterday was a momentous one at my
house. My fifteen year old grandson
took his first steps since breaking
his leg in June and being confined to
a wheelchair since that time. His
parents and I cried as though he were
a baby taking his first steps. Thanks
to all of you for your thoughts, kind
words, and prayers during this difficult
time; he should be completely mobile
by Christmas, God willing.
The rain continues to pour in southern
California, and we are not used to that.
Think of us if you see the news reports
about all the happenings surrounding a
little water coming down on us. Some of
it is pretty entertaining and some is
sad. The lesson I take from it is that
most things are foreign to us until we
take charge and incorporate them into
our lives – just like running an online
business!
