spring day. My Mother’s Day was fun
and filled with people I adore.
It was on Mother’s Day six years ago
when I placed a paperback copy of
my very first book into my Mother’s
frail hands. At that moment I thanked
God I had written the book while she
was still with us, not knowing that
a year later she would be gone.

weekend, I’m even more aware of the
power of being a published author. I
