Everyone in my neighborhood was
gathered around and pointing up
in the sky last night at the
gorgeous full moon. But it was
not really full, as that will be
coming this evening at 7:37 pm
EDT. It’s called a Hunter’s Moon,
which is the first full moon in
October every autumn.
There’s even a ‘Feast of the Hunter’s
Moon’ held each year in Indiana, and
it’s interesting to know that all
full moons rise around sunset each
month.
Speaking of Hunter’s Moon, that’s
the special project I’ve been
working on with Geoff Hoff for the
past several months. We decided to
launch it officially today because,
well, the Hunter’s Moon for 2013
is arriving this evening!
