Hi Online-Marketing, This weekend I’m in Nashville, Tennessee spending time with one of my mentors. It has been unseasonably warm here but it is forecast to cool down before I leave on Monday. When my Mastermind group asked me about my “Really Simple” series of online courses I told them the next one will be on how to create an online course. Hi Online-Marketing, After a decade of working exclusively online, I will tell you this lifestyle can be a challenge at times. Online entrepreneurship requires discipline and a willingness to put other things aside sometimes in order to achieve the level of success you may be craving. But if you’re willing to do this, to say “no” to friends and family who want you to spend additional time with them when you know you need to work, then the payoff over time will be quite phenomenal. Turn off the television, decide how many hours each week you need to write, create, and build your business, and then take all of the time off you like. During your first year or two, you will have much less time than you did while being employed. After that your time off will increase exponentially, along with your bank account balance. Seems like a fair tradeoff to me. Just recently I became interested in genealogy, something I did not bother with in the past. Last week I discovered a man named John Perry who lived in the state of Missouri and passed away in 1885. He was my great-grandfather! Now I am anxious to find more relatives and to write down the stories about them. There is an excellent course on how to do this, and how to do it for others as well.
