Hi Online-Marketing, I slept in this morning to catch up on my sleep after a wonderful week long visit with Jason Fladlien. He and Wilson Mattos (who lives just a few miles from me) connect in person to strategize for their business and I’m lucky enough to be included. Hi Online-Marketing, Last night I spent several hours with Jason Fladlien, Wil Mattos, and a few other friends at the best sushi restaurant in Santa Clarita. Jason is here for a few days from his native Iowa and we love to show him a good time each time he visits. Hi Online-Marketing, I recently embarked on a new online adventure, and the learning curve has been a steep one for me. What could have taken me two to three weeks to set up has now taken over two months, yet I’m still excited at this new opportunity to expand my business. The reason I’m able to stay calm and exercise such great patience is that I still remember what it was like when I got started with my online business back in 2006. I worked each day at a snail’s pace during that first year, learning each new piece of the puzzle until I had it down. The good news is that, just like with everything in life, it all gets much in time. The only way you can fail is by not taking any action at all. Hi Online-Marketing, This is the beginning of the three week period each year when I spend time reflecting on what I’ve done over the past twelve months and then planning what I will be doing during the next year. I’ve done this each year for the previous seven years and know that is why my business is continuing to grow exponentially. Are you preparing for 2014? You may have heard about the death of actor Paul Walker (The Fast and the Furious) a few days ago. The car accident happened less than five miles from my home in Santa Clarita, where Paul owned a business and was active with charity work. Today there will be a memorial service that is expected to bring more than ten thousand people to our town. Why am I telling you about this? I’m saddened by Paul’s death and reminded once again that we are not here forever. Live your dreams now, be able to leave a legacy, and know that you made the difference you wanted to make while you were here.
