Hi Online-Marketing, My event in Las Vegas has now wrapped up, and I drove back to Santa Clarita yesterday. On the way back I stopped at a Starbuck’s just outside of town and ran into a man I know from the Rotary Club but haven’t seen in awhile. Sebastian was surfing the web on his iPad and called my name when he saw me. Sebastian: What are you up to these days? Me: I’m just returning from hosting another of my live workshops in Las Vegas. Sebastian: Weren’t you unemployed when I first met you, about eight years ago? Me: Yes, in 2006 I had resigned from teaching and given away my real estate clients. Sebastian: Did you ever dream you would be this successful? Me: Yes, and I finally stopped the dreaming and started taking action. I went out to the car and brought one of my books in to give to Sebastian. I autographed it to thank him for his support and encouragement over all these years. When he heard it was my tenth book he jumped up and gave me a hug. I smiled for rest of the day. Hi Online-Marketing, I am in Las Vegas for a week to host my live Workshop and to spend time with my mentees. Last night a few of us went to see the Cirque du Soleil show ‘One’, based on the music of Michael Jackson. It was a spectacular show and I was once again reminded of how blessed I am to have special people in my life to share such experiences as this one with. Today marks the 22nd anniversary of when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer, and when I first came to realize that my life is a gift from God.
