Hi Online-Marketing, My family has returned to Finland and Sweden after spending a month in the States. It was a wild adventure that none of us will ever forget. Next year I’ll be back in Europe to spend time with them in their homelands. This morning I have guests from China arriving for a week. Hi Online-Marketing, Years ago I taught at a school where some of the teachers and administrators engaged in gossip. It was alarming to watch as a person’s reputation was at risk because of something another person had said. At the end of that school year I transferred to another campus for this very reason. Even then I knew that my personal and professional reputation could and would follow me everywhere. And this was years before the internet became as pivotal in our lives as it has now become. When I came online in 2006 I “Googled” myself to see what was there. Only two results came up for my name, unlike the ten thousand plus that are there today. One was for a testimonial I had given for a course I had taken on reverse mortgages. It had been informative and I gave the teacher and the course a glowing review that was on the internet for all to see. The other was from an interview I had given to a reporter from Parade Magazine on violence in the schools in Los Angeles. I had been very careful in what I said that day, and in reading it a few years later I was glad that I had been.
