Hi Online-Marketing, Depending on what time you read this, I’ll be somewhere over the Atlantic, passing by Greenland, or actually at my final destination of Helsinki, Finland. I do this every year, and look forward with great delight to spending time with family and friends as we have our European adventure. It’s quite different than in previous times when I could barely take off a week to enjoy a change of scenery and catch my breath before getting back to the grind. Hi Online-Marketing, I’ve returned from Las Vegas and am now rested up and ready to resume my ‘regular’ life. I love live events, but they tend to wear me out, especially when I drive there and back instead of flying. Hi Online-Marketing, This morning I had a long chat with Ed Mercer. You may remember that I recommended one of his stock photography services not so long ago. He and his partner have another one coming out soon that I know you will love. Ed also told me that Dennis is a big New York Jets football fan. I never knew this about him. I found out this morning that one of their players, Brandon Marshall, stubbed his big toe yesterday during practice and limped off the field. This is a case of the student becoming the teacher and I could not be more pleased and proud. Hi Online-Marketing, I honestly thought I would not live long enough to see this ever happen again… You may know that I have a deep love and connection with the world of horse racing. Growing up in California and then in Florida, thoroughbred racing has always been a part of my life. Year after year my heart has been broken when no horse has been able to win the Triple Crown since Affirmed did so in 1978. I was living in New York at that time and was there in the stands the day he won. Yesterday, after a disappointing thirty-seven year wait, American Pharoah won the third leg of the Triple Crown at Belmont Stakes in New York. I’m still celebrating! You may wonder why I’m sharing this story with you today. It’s because this race is an excellent example of why we must persevere and never, ever give up on our dreams.
