Hi Online-Marketing, Three times a year some friends of mine hold an antique sale here in Santa Barbara. They are antiques dealers, meaning that they purchase entire and partial estates and sell off pieces to people who want, need, or just like to collect objects of interest. Hi Online-Marketing, Right now I’m preparing to teach the next session of my Internet Marketing Six Pack course this evening. Hi Online-Marketing, This morning I entered my local post office lobby to the sounds of a woman screaming at the top of her lungs. Her packages had been misplaced over the holidays and now no one would be of service or listen to her to remedy the situation. After getting my mail from my box and watching at least twenty people ignore her completely, I made my way to where she was standing and made eye contact with her. At first she screamed at me to leave her alone, but as I began to tell my story in a calm voice she finally met my gaze and even began to respond to my words. I told her that I understood how frustrated she must be and asked her permission to share my own story with her. When she finally agreed I told her an oversimplified version of something that had happened to me. I then shared my solution, which was to go over the heads of the local post office and contact a central office that could better help her and would definitely listen to her. My story made a difference in this lady’s life experience today as my words began to resonate with her. Storytelling is a powerful thing, and as an author and info product creator you are able to use your stories to build your brand and your business.
