I’ve told you about my elderly family member
who suffered a brain injury in a car accident
six weeks ago, and here is an update…
In attempting to find the right present for a
treasured friend, I came upon something called
“book clocks.” It turns out my family member
has always worked with his hands, and now he
spends time each day perfecting his new craft.
Last night we went to a Rotary Club “progressive
dinner”, and at each house he talked to another
person who wanted him to make a clock out of
their favorite book. This new venture has changed
his life, and will also bring some income that
will make him feel valued. He is getting better
