Last night I was invited to an art opening
here in Santa Barbara. It was the amazing
work of David Weisner, someone I wasn’t at
all familiar with. This surprised me, because
as a school teacher for twenty years I would
have thought that I would have come across
his name and work at some point in time.
Isn’t it interesting how that can happen?

And at the art exhibit they served vegetables
represented in some of his books. Delicious!
