In 2014 a huge international corporation
began purchasing hosting companies, some
technology firms, and even a company used
by non-profits to send out their emails
to friends and donors. It was all very
public, but most of us didn’t seem to pay
attention to this news at the time.
By 2015 I began to recognize the names of
some of the hosting companies, and that’s
when the corporation began massive layoffs
of employees around the world. It’s done
all of the time, and known as “mergers and
acquisitions”. It’s a billion dollar way
to control an industry, but the fallout is

Then the service at the hosting companies
began to suffer, and I had to rethink the
way I did business online. You see, the
company that hosts your sites controls your
assets, and that is where it gets sticky.
I spend almost two hundred dollars a month
for dedicated hosting, and that is not in
the budget for newer online entrepreneurs.
As of today I am recommending A2 Hosting
if you need a reliable company that still
does business the old-fashioned way. And
maybe I am old-fashioned, judging by today’s
standards. Anyway, this has become personal
and political for me and I just want you to
have access to what I am able to enjoy, for
a fraction of the price.

one I am recommending.
If you are satisfied with your current
hosting company and plan, then just put
