Now you might not think that driving
across the bridge to get from Illinois
into Kentucky is a big deal, but in
the past this has been stressful for
me, to say the least. Crossing a huge
body of water on a narrow bridge brought
panic and fear, and I don’t like those
feelings.
So how did I get over it? By driving
across as many bridges as possible and
asking myself what I was really afraid
of. I won’t go into the details here,
but when I drove across the Ohio River
recently and truly enjoyed the beauty of
it all, I felt very proud of myself. We
can accomplish anything we want if we’re
willing to face our fears and do it anyway!
