Hi Online-Marketing,
Today I took my clients to a new place
for lunch. It was a delicatessen that
I had never been to before, and I was
quite resistant to trying it out.
Why?
It seems that I am always resistant to
change and even joke that my name means
“constant, never changing” in Latin. So
today I took the leap and ordered at
this new place to see what it was like.
And you know what? It was good. Not great,
but definitely good enough for a salad
and a sandwich on a rainy day. Perhaps
next time I’ll order something different
than what I usually have at a deli.
My point here is that we can all become
resistant to change and hesitant to do
something differently than we’ve done it
in the past. That’s what it was like when
I came to the realization that video and
webinars had to become a part of my online
teaching, and that PowerPoint needed to
be the basis of that eLearning for people
who came to me to build a business.
