Hi Online-Marketing,
It’s Day 5 of the film festival here
in Santa Barbara and I’m having so
much fun with the group of people who
are with me this year. They include
the team I assembled for the film I
am helping to get produced, as well
as friends who are also cinephiles.
Yesterday we saw ‘Life Itself’, the
story of film critic Roger Ebert.
Chaz Ebert, his widow, is here this
year, and I was able to tell her how
kind Roger was to me over the years
when I saw him at this festival and
the others I’ve attended – Sundance
in Utah and Telluride in Colorado.
Last night we honored Felicity Jones
and Eddie Redmayne for their work in
‘The Theory of Everything’ with the
Cinema Vanguard award. So talented
and well spoken they are – and they
both do some serious writing!
